Description:
L. Clifford McDonald, MD with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Dale N. Gerding, MD with Hines Veterans Affairs Hospital will discuss the burden of Clostridium difficile Infection (CDI) and present best practices for the management of CDI, from diagnosis to treatment.

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
Recognize the warning signs and symptoms of CDI
Identify the strengths and weaknesses of recommended tests to confirm a diagnosis of CDI
List the best practices for treatment of patients with CDI
Discuss the use of fecal transplant in the treatment of recurring CDI
