Description:
Join the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 12 PM ET for an update on current US adult vaccination recommendations and strategies for increasing coverage among this population.

NFID Medical Director William Schaffner, MD will moderate the webinar with a presentation by Robert H. Hopkins, Jr., MD, Chair, National Vaccine Advisory Committee (NVAC); Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Summarize and describe the rationale for US adult immunization recommendations
Apply strategies for implementation of Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations into practice
