Description:
This course will help both the general and subspecialty radiologist improve interpretation of pulmonary, abdominal, breast, neuro and musculoskeletal imaging. This will be achieved through updated reviews of evidence-based practice, with particular emphasis on new and emerging technologies, including advanced MRI and state-of-the-art Sonographic imaging. Comprehensive reviews of radiology fundamentals and protocols will be presented, as well as focused hot-topics and areas of innovation.

This course also offers 8 SA-CME credits (self-assessment).

Upon completion of this course, the attendee should be able to:
1. Improve image interpretation of the pulmonary, abdominal, neurological and musculoskeletal systems;
2. Develop strategies for reviewing radiology studies based on common diseases in subspecialty areas;
3. Discuss the current understanding of diagnostic CT radiation risk;
4. Improve performance in mammographic evaluation and intervention.
