Description:
Current Management Techniques in Otology and Otolaryngology is a half day course and will have two main areas of focus. The morning lectures cover current topics in otology and will include management of the complex mastoid bowl, strategies for managing superior canal dehiscence syndrome, timing considerations in the treatment of sudden hearing loss and basic principles for successful tympanoplasty and ossiculplasty. There will also be a discussion of complicated otologic cases loosely based on the lecture topics.

The second portion of the course will address topics in facial plastics and will cover techniques for managing septal perforations, how to choose the most appropriate brow lift technique for your patient and techniques for nasal mid vault reconstruction. The day will close with an expert panel discuss on managing facial paralysis.
